Bake Off, but better: guilt & gluten free coconut & chocolate CBD cups

With Christmas well on the way, sweet treats are lining the shelves and tempting us constantly, which is why GBBO’s free-from themed week couldn’t come soon enough! In honour of the nation’s favourite baking show, we are sharing with you these delicious gluten free chocolate CBD cups.

The perfect sweet treat for Bake Off! 

Delightfully smooth and flavoursome, these coconut & chocolate CBD cups are the perfect sweet treat for those of us looking to indulge, whilst also keeping an eye on our health. Not only are they vegan, keto, paleo and gluten free, they contain a little CBD boost that can help optimise your overall well being.

So, if the mouth-watering showstoppers coming out of the Bake Off tent have you reaching for the snack cupboard, why keep these tasty treats close to hand? You’ll have Paul knocking at your door to give you a handshake in no time!

Coconut & Chocolate CBD Cups

Prep time: 20 minutes

Makes: 12

Ingredients

  • 120g dark chocolate (or milk chocolate if your prefer)
  • 35g coconut butter
  • 1ml (or 150mg) 15% CBD Oil (1500mg)
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 2tsp soft demerara sugar or coconut sugar (optional) 

Instructions

1. Slowly melt the chocolate by placing it in a heat-proof bowl over boiling water. Be sure to not let the bowl touch the water and stir frequently. 

2. Once melted, pour a teaspoon of the melted chocolate mixture into paper cupcake liners (there should be about half the chocolate mixture left). Place the rest of the chocolate mixture to one side for use later. 

3. Pop the cups in the freezer until the chocolate is set – this should only take a couple of minutes. 

4. Whilst the chocolate cools, melt the coconut butter. Let the butter cool slightly and then stir in the 15% CBD oil, cinnamon and sugar (if using). 

5. Remove the hardened chocolate from the freezer and add a teaspoon of the coconut butter mixture into the paper cups, then place in the freezer. 

6. Once set, pour the remaining melted chocolate evenly into the paper cups.

7. For an extra kick of flavour, dust the cups with sea salt and then place them back into the freezer once more. 

8. And lastly, enjoy your little guilt-free delights whilst watching this week’s episode of GBBO!
