What is Vitamin D3:
Cholecalciferol is a vitamin D3. Vitamin D plays a key role for the absorption of calcium and for the functioning of calcium in the body. Research also shows that it can protect bone, teeth, skin and muscle health. Vitamin sufficiency allows our immune system to operate at an optimum level. As this is a fat soluble vitamin it is absorbed better when taken in an oil carrier such as hempseed oil.
Vitamin D3 is the form of vitamin D our body recognises most as our body produces vitamin D3 in our skin and then stores it in our body. Studies have found this form of vitamin D to be most effective.
This is a vegetarian Vitamin D supplement.
